[ It's not until much later in the day that Mizuki approaches Majima; they weren't interested in bothering him while he was still in mourning, especially considering how combative their relationship tends to be. But they do seek him out eventually, once they're both back in the house they've been sharing. ]

Are you coping all right, Majima-kun?

[ they've brought two bottles of beer with them, with the intention fairly obvious. They're kinda fruity beers, though. ]]

[ all things given, he's taking it better than, say, madoka, who actually had a personable relationship with one of the deceased. still, he's not one to turn down a drink, and how could he refuse an offer from his fake spouse?

I ain't actually sad about any of 'em, really. If anythin', I'm pissed that shit is still happenin' when everyone makes a big show of bein' against the murder part of all this.

[ they take a seat and hand off one of the bottles to him, along with a bottleopener they stole off the fridge downstairs. It's their house now, right... they can take shit... ]

Obviously, some people here are consistent liars. It's just a matter of ratting them out. In a group this size, though, it'd be hard on my own... [ a beat; then Mizuki holds up their bottle for a toast. ] I'm glad you made it another week.

[ he gives them a smirk, then meets their bottle with his. ]

'Course I made it. We got a family to look after.

[digestif]

[ that gets a laugh out of them. ]

How rude. I'll have you know that I'm a super sensitive soul. Then again, I didn't take you for the family man type, either.

[ but he is, apparently!! what an unusual character, that majima-kun. They take a sip of their drink before they continue. ]

Do you mind if I start with a serious topic? It's about tomorrow. Then maybe we can talk about something else for once.

[ they smirk at him, raising an eyebrow. ]

Then I suppose you'd better learn to keep up with me, Majima-kun.

[ they weren't expecting him to return fire... interesting. It keeps their smile from fading for a little while longer as they get into the details. ]

Anyway, that's not it. The truth is, I have a strong suspicion regarding Chuuya-san's killer. I don't know who carried out the attack, but all the evidence is pointing towards Disorder as the god who ordered it.

[ it was one thing when they hardly knew each other... if we're talking raw time, yeah, it still hasn't been that long, but sharing a living space for a week and playing house may have had something to do with him feeling more at ease with them.

he raises an eyebrow when they share their theory. that's not a direction he expected them to go in. ]

[ yeah, living with Majima has convinced Mizuki more than ever that he's not all that scary, despite appearances - provided you don't get on his bad side. But considering he's a surprisingly good guy, that's been easy to do. ]

Chuuya-san was originally with Disorder - but you probably heard him talking about how much he hated his god and wanted to change, right? Well, apparently he made Disorder really angry. Not only that, but the one he defected to was Sincerity, who Disorder hates.

[ they look over to Majima. ]

Obviously, I don't have any kind of serious proof... but it's a good lead, I think. I wanted to ask if you knew anyone who's with Disorder.

Damn. All I'm learnin' so far is "don't fuckin' defect to Sincerity-han unless ya got a death wish." Makes me feel kinda bad for 'em; they ain't bad.

[ his facial expression shows that it's a genuine display of sympathy. ]

I got nothin'. [ ... he pauses before continuing, hesitantly, ] All I can tell ya about Disorder-han is that they were one of the three that reached out to me before we got started. If your theories are right, I'm real fuckin' glad I didn't choose 'em.

Well, it was worth a shot. If it's anything like last week, we'll be all right as long as we know the god.

[ as for Majima's confession, they don't seem terribly surprised; they quirk a smile at him. ]

I don't think you would have lasted long with them. On top of all that, I heard they're also one of the gods that made this competition into a killing game... Not your type of person, I think. [ a beat. ] I haven't actually met them, so take all this with a grain of salt.

I mean, with a name like "Disorder," I'd have it on pretty good authority they're the type to start that kinda shit. Even without the extra bit of insight ya had on Nakahara-han, can ya fault anybody for instinctively bein' suspicious of 'em?

[ beat ]

I assume we're not just openin' up tomorrow with "hey assholes, let's not waste nine hours, vote Disorder if ya know what's good," though.

[digestif]

[ a shake of the head. ]

No, of course not... They might not even have Disorder up as a suspect, for all I know. I just thought it was something to keep in mind. [ a beat. ] And with that, you have all my insight onto what happened. Let's hope it comes in handy.
